Sunday Southern Roasted Chicken
Sunday Dinner Perfection
Juicy roasted chicken seasoned with TruLee's signature Southern spices for a meal the whole family will love.
Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken (4–5 lbs)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons TruLee All Purpose Seasoning
- 1 tablespoon TruLee Grandma's Pot Veggie Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon TruLee Sassy Spicy Seasoning (optional)
- 1 onion, quartered
- 2 celery stalks
- Fresh rosemary or thyme (optional)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Wash chicken and Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
- Rub the chicken with olive oil.
- Season generously all over and inside of cavity with All Purpose Seasoning and Grandma's Pot Veggie Seasoning.
- Sprinkle Sassy Spicy Seasoning on top if you like a little heat .
- Place onion and celery inside the cavity.
- Roast for about 1 hour 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Let rest for 10–15 minutes before carving.

Brush the chicken with melted butter during the last 20 minutes of roasting for crispy golden skin.
