Southern Fried Corn
A Southern Summer Classic
Sweet corn, butter, peppers, onions, and bold Southern seasonings come together in this colorful side dish that's perfect for cookouts, holidays, or Sunday dinner.
Ingredients
- 8 cups fresh or frozen corn
- 1 small onion, diced
- ½ red bell pepper, diced
- ½ green bell pepper, diced
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon TruLee Grandma's Pot Veggie Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon TruLee Sassy Spicy Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon black pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley (optional)
Directions
- Melt butter in a large skillet.
- Cook onions and peppers until tender.
- Add the corn.
- Stir in Grandma's Pot Veggie Seasoning, Sassy Spicy Seasoning and Pepper.
- Cook for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
