Southern Fried Corn

Sweet corn, butter, peppers, onions, and bold Southern seasonings come together in this colorful side dish that's perfect for cookouts, holidays, or Sunday dinner.

Ingredients

  • 8 cups fresh or frozen corn
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • ½ red bell pepper, diced
  • ½ green bell pepper, diced
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon TruLee Grandma's Pot Veggie Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon TruLee Sassy Spicy Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley (optional)

Directions

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet.
  2. Cook onions and peppers until tender.
  3. Add the corn.
  4. Stir in Grandma's Pot Veggie Seasoning, Sassy Spicy Seasoning and Pepper.
  5. Cook for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
